Terms of service

These terms are between you and ShopZen. By creating an account you agree to them and to the privacy policy. If you use ShopZen for a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree on its behalf.

• Use your real name and an email address you can receive mail at. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account and in stores where you're the owner.
• Owners decide who joins their store and what role they get. Removing someone takes away their access straight away.

Your store is your business. You're responsible for:

• Your products, prices, photos and descriptions being accurate and yours to use.
• Delivering what customers order, collecting cash on delivery, and handling returns and refunds under your own policies and Bangladeshi law.
• Treating your customers' details with care and only using them for their orders.

You may not use ShopZen to sell or promote:

• Anything illegal in Bangladesh, including drugs, weapons and stolen goods.
• Counterfeit products, or anything that copies someone else's brand or work without permission.
• Anything that deceives customers, such as fake discounts or products you don't intend to deliver.

We may pause a store that breaks these rules, and we'll tell the owner why.

• Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and shown on the pricing page. Starter is free with no time limit.
• A new store that starts on a paid plan gets the first 14 days free. To keep the plan after that, pay from Settings → Plan & billing.
• Paid plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly. A plan change takes effect once its payment goes through.
• You can move to a smaller plan when your store fits within its limits. Time already paid for isn't refunded, unless the law requires it.
• ShopZen doesn't take a share of your sales.

You keep ownership of everything you add — products, photos, pages and your store's name. You let us store it, show it on your store and make copies needed to run the service (such as smaller versions of photos). This permission ends when you delete the content or close your store, apart from backups that expire on their own.

• Your shopzen.bd address is yours while your store is open. We may reclaim an address that impersonates someone else.
• If you connect your own domain, you're responsible for keeping it registered and its records pointing to ShopZen.

• Owners can close a store in Settings → Store details. The store stops taking orders, the plan is cancelled and custom domains are released.
• You can delete your account in Account once you've closed the stores you own.
• We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we'll give notice where we reasonably can.

We work hard to keep ShopZen running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features; if we remove something you pay for, we'll give you notice.

As far as the law allows, ShopZen isn't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before the change takes effect. Questions: [email protected].
